Another Setback for Toledo's Francisco Carrillo Thursday, August 23rd , 2063 The Toledo Mud Hens announced today that Francisco Carrillo would be missing for longer than expected as the 25-year-old left fielder recovers from a mild abdominal strain. "Francisco had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Mud Hens GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Carrillo would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is one week more recovery time." For the season, Carrillo is hitting at a .298 clip with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and has scored 18 runs. He has 50 hits, 14 walks and a .357 on-base percentage. |
