Season Over for Ermano Piñon in Buffalo Friday, April 26th , 2052 The Buffalo Bisons and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Ermano Piñon would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Piñon was hurt in a recent game against the Wilkes-Barre Barons while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn ulnar collateral ligament. His doctors think that Piñon will miss about 12 months. |
