Un-four-gettable: Taylor Hits for Cycle Monday, April 29th , 2052 In an outing that will go down in the annals of baseball history, Alexandria first baseman Dylan Taylor hit for the cycle today as the Aces marched to victory over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 8-7. Taylor collected 4 hits in 6 at-bats, including 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 2 RBI and 3 runs scored to help Alexandria take the Blue Wahoos Stadium contest. "It was the last thing on my mind, really," Taylor said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway." Dylan Taylor tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Chet Eisold in the 9th and flied out in the 10th.
