Gamble Garners SL Batter of the Month Award Saturday, June 1st , 2052 Frisco RoughRiders fans believe they've got a talented young star in Stanley Gamble. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in May, as he hit .391 with 10 home runs, 20 RBIs and 26 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the Southern League Batter of the Month. This season Gamble has banged out 37 hits in 101 at-bats for a .366 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .443 pace and his totals also include 23 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
