Year Over for Baysox Williamson Wednesday, June 27th , 2068 John Williamson of the Baysox just might have to call it quits for the season. The 25-year-old Bowie reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Lancaster Barnstormers recently at FirstEnergy Stadium. Williamson suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Baysox medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. To date this year, he has registered no saves, 2 wins and 2 losses with a 6.62 ERA. Williamson has made 25 relief appearances, worked a total of 34 innings and surrendered 42 hits. He has fanned 32, issued 13 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .298 batting average. |
