Akron Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Monday, August 29th , 2050 Despite their best efforts to remain in the race, the playoff chase is over for the Akron RubberDucks. The club has now been mathematically eliminated from clinching a postseason berth. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2046. In total, the RubberDucks have missed the playoffs 24 times in their 47-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the RubberDucks have missed the playoffs 6 times. Akron last won the AA Championship Series in 2027. |
