Michael Clark Picked EL's Best Player

He may have less experience than most of his Double A peers, but that didn't slow Michael Clark down at all in 2050.
At the age of 22, the Quebec left fielder has been named the winner of the Eastern League Most Valuable Player.
He had a .353 batting average and a .406 on-base percentage this year. In 99 games he piled up 147 hits, 34 doubles, 13 triples, 9 home runs, 80 RBIs and 69 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 36. Dennis Hardwick of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Steele Rodgers of the Bowie Baysox finished third with 3 first place votes.
