Nieves Gets 5 Hits Tuesday, September 5th , 2062 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Corpus Christi's 4-3 win over Biloxi, left fielder Rafael Nieves was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Whataburger Field. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Nieves said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
