Knight and Pineda Suspended for Free-for-All Saturday, August 30th , 2064 Dominic Knight of the Midland RockHounds and Jimy Pineda of the Rocket City Trash Pandas will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent RockHounds-Trash Pandas game at Hank Aaron Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Knight and Pineda will begin serving them soon. In his season totals, Knight has 1 home run, .286 BA, .380 OBP, 6 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 23 games. Checking out his stats for the season, Pineda has racked up 7 wins and 8 losses in 24 starts, posted a 3.74 ERA, and struck out 122 batters in 125 innings. |
