Akron Takes Wild Card Series in Deciding Game Saturday, September 30th , 2062 The Akron RubberDucks are off to the Divisional Series after an exciting Wild Card Series triumph. Akron downed the Erie SeaWolves, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 5-4 win tonight at Jerry Uht Park wrapping up the series 4-3. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Billy Lamica, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Lamica put up a .500 with a .556 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 4 runs and scored 7 runs himself.
