Engineers Lose Balderas for Season Sunday, June 25th , 2051 Playoff hopes of Engineers player Vicente Balderas have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum throwing a pitch in today's game against Montgomery Biscuits. Balderas is expected to miss up to 4 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. On the year Balderas has worked 30.1 innings with 15 strikeouts en route to a 1-1 record and 11.27 ERA. |
