They were already on the outside looking in for the playoff chase, but the club was officially eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2046. In total, the RubberDucks have missed the playoffs 25 times in their 48-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the RubberDucks have missed the playoffs 6 times. Akron last won the AA Championship Series in 2027. |
