Arkansas's García Out 12 Months Friday, October 6th , 2062 A blow for Gamadiel García today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn rotator cuff. García suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Arkansas Travelers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about García's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. For the season, García has made 15 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 3-0 won-lost mark and a 2.25 ERA. In pitching 20 innings, he has totaled 14 strikeouts and 6 walks. |
