Mullin Hurls Pit Spitters to 6-0 Shutout Win Friday, July 21st , 2051 Matt Mullin held the Salem Red Sox to 2 hits and fashioned a fine 6-0 shutout at Sun Sox Ballpark today. Speaking after the game, Traverse City Pit Spitters manager Omari Parker said "Mullin had everything going for him today. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement. He was masterful." Mullin rung up 8 strikeouts and surrendered 3 walks in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Salem manager Dave Cornaby told reporters.
