Playoffs Won't Happen for Pirates Friday, August 23rd , 2030 The 2030 Rookie Complex League - U21 season has a ways to go still, but the final weeks won't have playoff implications for the Fort Lauderdale Pirates -- they were officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Fort Lauderdale last appeared in the postseason in 2026. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 27 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Pirates have made the playoffs 3 times. Fort Lauderdale has won the Rookie Championship Series 2 times in their history. |
