Postseason Bid Ends for Kissimmee Thursday, September 1st , 2050 David Weiher said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Kissimmee Kumquats after they missed the Rookie playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Kumquats last missed the playoffs in 2048. In the 47 years they have been a Rookie franchise, they have made the playoffs 12 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Kumquats have missed the playoffs 8 times. Kissimmee last won the R Championship Series in 2030. |
