Hollywood Takes Wild Card Series in Deciding Game Sunday, September 18th , 2050 The Hollywood Spoonbills and Miramar Sun Dogs didn't hold back anything in the Wild Card Series, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Divisional Series. Hollywood won the final game by a score of 3-2 at Roger Dean Stadium and that concluded the series, 3-2. "Relief is the biggest thing," Hollywood first baseman Nickolas Matthias said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Miramar deserves credit for the hard fight." Matthias paced the Hollywood offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .222 with a .300 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.
