Spoonbills Advance to R Championship Series Friday, October 7th , 2050 In an exciting Regional Championship Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Rookie fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Hollywood Spoonbills, who edged the Gainesville Hogs 4-3 to advance to the R Championship Series. Hollywood won the final game by a 10-4 count to wrap up the series. Ethan Adams earned series MVP honors, by hitting .400 with a .464 on-base percentage.
