Law Goes 6-for-6
Thursday, August 7th , 2064
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 6 hits in a day.
Woodrow Law is one of those rare few, as he went 6-for-6 against the Gainesville Hogs at Pirate City Complex. The monster effort from the 18-year-old catcher helped the Clearwater Threshers get the win, 13-1.
"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Hogs manager Janry Veloz. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."
Woodrow Law doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
This season, Law is hitting at a .458 pace with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and has scored 10 times.
