Colón Smacks 5 Hits for Sun Dogs Monday, August 21st , 2051 It was a hits blitz for Douglas Colón at Scottsdale Stadium today. The Miramar Sun Dogs catcher tore into the Bullhead City Catfish for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Catfish swept past the Sun Dogs 5-4 to ruin Colón's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Miramar manager Mike Jefferson explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Douglas was nice but it wasn't enough." Douglas Colón doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
