Rocha Goes on Rampage Against Sun Dogs Sunday, August 16th , 2065 Pompano Beach Aqua Sox first baseman Martin Rocha had a day to remember at Roger Dean Stadium, ripping apart the Miramar Sun Dogs and sparking the 9-4 Aqua Sox win. Rocha wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Rocha told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Martin Rocha singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
